Three FC Annecy players have been called up for international duty in September. Defender Julien Kouadio joins the Central African Republic, young back Jonathan Do Marcolino is selected by Gabon, and midfielder Pascal Mozie will feature for Poland U19.
The club confirmed the news on Thursday. "For this October international window, three of our players will represent their nations!", said FC Annecy.
Julien Kouadio will play in 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The Central African Republic faces Mauritania on Thursday 24 September, then Burkina Faso on Monday 28. The defender, who made his international debut last season, leaves an Annecy side sitting 7th in Ligue 2 with 10 points.
Jonathan Do Marcolino, aged 20, also joins Gabon. The centre-back, who has one senior cap from the last AFCON, will play against Morocco on Friday 25 September and Niger on Tuesday 29.
Pascal Mozie is taking part in a tournament in Slovakia with Poland U19. The midfielder, who has 19 caps since U16 level, will face Switzerland on Friday, Slovakia on Monday and Kazakhstan on Thursday 1 October.
These departures follow Annecy's last home defeat to Dijon (1-2). The squad must adapt without these three players, whose international performances will be tracked on our squad page.
