Three FC Annecy players have been called up for international duty during the three-week autumn break. The club, currently seventh in Ligue 2 with ten points, will resume the season with an away match at Dunkerque on 9 October.
Defender Julien Kouadio will join the Central African Republic national team. He received his first senior call-up last year. Jonathan Do Marcolino, a summer signing, has been selected by Gabon. The 20-year-old defender featured at the last Africa Cup of Nations, where Gabon were eliminated in the group stage.
The third player involved is Pascal Mozie. The young midfielder, also signed in the last transfer window, is called up by the Poland Under-19 side. He already has nineteen caps for Poland's Under-16 team.
Annecy enter the break on the back of two consecutive defeats, including a 1-2 loss to Dijon last time out. The full upcoming schedule can be found on our fixtures page. The coaching staff will have to prepare for the restart against 12th-placed Dunkerque without these three players. The remaining squad will train at the club's centre this week before a preparation camp.
