FC Annecy recently hosted the 8th edition of the adapted football tournament, CAP O FOOT 2026, at the Parc des Sports in Annecy. This event, held annually since 2017, has become a key moment for the club, highlighting values of inclusion and solidarity. Nearly 190 players with psychological or mental disabilities participated, showing an increase from previous years. Participants from various specialized institutions in Haute-Savoie and Ain experienced a memorable day within the FCA facilities. The day began in a festive atmosphere with various workshops such as human foosball and technical courses. Participants had the chance to share moments of joy and camaraderie before gathering for a friendly meal. The afternoon featured additional activities and a visit from the professional Ligue 2 team players, who took time to interact with the participants. This interaction was particularly appreciated, strengthening the bond between the club and the community. The success of this edition is due to the commitment of volunteers, educators, and professional players, all of whom contributed to making this event unforgettable. CAP O FOOT continues to play an essential role in FC Annecy's calendar, proving that football can be a powerful vehicle for inclusion and social connection.
