FC Annecy is pleased to announce the arrival of V Sports, owner of Aston Villa FC, to the club's capital through a minority stake. This minority shareholder will aim to develop the Savoyard club. The main objective of this alliance is the development of the youth academy. FC Annecy wants to reach a new structural milestone to conserve the best talents in the region. President Sébastien Faraglia regularly recalls the difficulties encountered in recent years. The departure of young Noah Codjo-Evora to Bayern Munich had notably illustrated certain limitations of the club in terms of infrastructure. Thanks to V Sports' contribution, Annecy will be able to accelerate several major projects. The construction of the future life center is at the top of the priorities. The global project represents an investment estimated at 11 million euros. The collaboration will go beyond the simple financial aspect. The two clubs plan to exchange methodologies, provide training for educators, and pursue a loan policy... From the FC Annecy side, no one wants to get excited. The directors refuse to mention a rapid rise to Ligue 1 or a revolution in the transfer market. This arrival of V Sports is above all an accelerator of growth. It allows FC Annecy to strengthen its credibility, secure its development. But also, to offer a more attractive future to young talents in the region.
