Annecy FC is pleased to announce the arrival of V Sports, owner of Aston Villa FC, to the club's capital through a minority stake. This collaboration respects the identity of Annecy FC, its territorial anchorage and its development. V Sports also holds shares in the clubs of Vitoria Setúbal (Portugal) and Real Union Irún (Spain). The holding also has partnerships with ZED FC (Egypt), Vissel Kobe (Japan) or ASEC Mimosas (Ivory Coast). Annecy FC finished its 2025-2026 season in seventh place in Ligue 2. Aston Villa, owned by V Sports, won the 2026 Europa League in Istanbul. This minority stake could be around 30% with an investment of 4.5 million euros, according to concordant sources.
