Annecy FC faces Dunkerque this Friday, October 9 in Ligue 2's 8th matchday. Kick-off is at 8pm and the game is broadcast live on beIN Sports Max. The match is also available for streaming via beIN Sports services. Supporters traveling abroad can use a VPN service to access the broadcast.
Laurent Guyot's side, currently 7th in the league with 10 points, approach this away trip aiming to continue their upward trend. They come off a 2-1 friendly win against Servette last week, confirming their recent form. Their last league outing, a 1-2 defeat to Dijon, had left them disappointed. Their next fixture after this one will be an important home match against Bordeaux, who are currently 4th in the table.
Opponents Dunkerque, coached by Albert Sanchez, sit 12th and are looking to return to winning ways after a tough run. The northern club has not beaten Annecy at home since August 2024. The last meeting between the two teams, on January 31, ended in a 1-0 victory for Annecy on this same pitch at the Stade Marcel-Tribut.
For this mid-table clash, no major absences have been announced for either side at the time of writing. The stakes are high for Annecy, who could close in on the top five with a win. The upcoming fixtures will be key in this first part of the season. The team lineup and latest statistics are available on our squad and stats pages.
